If this was simpler/possible, the rug design and simplicity of RK 3 would have been the ideal solution for me.
APPLE MAINSTAGE PEDALBOARD CONTROLLER PATCH
If I am at patch 10 and I hit "Up" I got to 11. It seems each has its own counter, so their increase/decrease their own count instead of getting the current patch reference and change it from there. I wonder what I am doing wrong.Īnother curious thing was programming a couple of buttons (with Controller Editor), asking the controller to simply increase or decrease the patch number. I pushed that "learn" button in the controller configuration screen a lot of times, and could not see it learn anything, with RK or even my old FBC1010. It may be that I suck, or that I am too tired, or simply that the MIDI capabilities concieved for Guitar Rig are still in its infance. I have found no way to get Guitar Rig working as a plug-in to accept CC / Note commands (to start/stop the loop machine) AND be a simple midi foot controller to change the patches of the host application. Hi there, after a week spending n hours punching possibilities and combinations of things, I am giving up.

The question is: can I do these two things? Can I use Guitar Rig (running as a plug-in) to change Mainstage’s patch (Host application) through the use of MIDI? I really would like to get rid of my current FBC1010 Midi controller and just do this with Guitar Rig…. I have been successful keeping the loop running while I change MainStage’s patches manually, so I can change patches and overdub with other sounds at the top of the recorded loop.

Be able to change my MainStage patches by using RK's MIDI OUT, which will be connected to my motu card. Joy: Orange Blood Tour The festivals inflatable 30-foot waterslide was.I got Rig Kontroller 3 yesterday, and I do not want to use it as a sound card (I have a MOTU firewire card already), but the following way: I change the patches from MainStage and I get different patches changed on Guitar Rig automatically. I use Guitar Rig 4 as a plug-in inside Apple's MainStage. This is my first post here, thanks to everybody’s input I have been able so far to answer most of my questions, but for this one today, I have found fractions of discouraging pieces of information, so just to confirm, here it is my situation:
